Da das Jahr 2017 für uns ganz unter dem Motto von Champagner steht, waren wir sehr neugierig auf das vielversprechend klingende Event mit dem Namen: Champagne in the City.

Die Champagnerfreunde treffen sich im La Bohème in Schwabing. „Lässig internationaler Flair trifft auf wohnzimmerhafte Gemütlichkeit und kulinarische Vielfalt. Vom einfachen Glas Wein mit Landschinken oder einem Ofenbrot bis hin zum 5 Gänge Menü kann man sich hier auf alles einlassen, worauf man Lust hat.“ ,wie die Webseite verspricht.

? Das Konzept ? The Concept

Zu Champagne in the City kann man nicht einfach so hingehen. Man muss eingeladen werden oder von einer Person, die bereits auf der Einladungsliste steht, mitgenommen werden. Klingt anfangs nach einem kleinen elitären Kreis von Menschen, die gerne unter sich bleiben.

Ganz im Gegenteil, wie wir vor Ort erfahren haben. Es ist wie eine kleine Familie, in der neue Mitglieder nach und nach dazukommen. So ist es auch kein Wunder, dass man schnell neue Leute mit gleichem Geschmack und Humor kennenlernt. Man trifft aber auch bekannte Gesichter, mit denen man schon auf anderen Veranstaltungen, wie beim Snow Polo, gemeinsam ein Gläschen Champagner getrunken hat.

Einmalig ist auch, dass der Restaurantbetrieb im La Bohème weiterläuft. Auch im Rahmen des Champagne in the City ist man durch die leckeren Köstlichkeiten, die laufend die Küche verlassen, jederzeit geneigt, etwas von der Karte zu bestellen. Je nachdem, was man als Begleitung zum Champagner mag, hat man die Qual der Wahl zwischen Fleisch, Trüffel-Flammkuchen, Pastagerichten und selbstverständlich ein paar Austern.

Ein DJ sorgt stets zu Champagne in the City für eine lockere Party Atmosphäre.

Wiederkommen lohnt sich, und natürlich sind wir am 20.März wieder dabei.
