Wir hatten uns den Wecker auf 7:30 Uhr gestellt. Auch wenn er uns etwas zu heftig aus dem kuscheligen Bett herausgeworfen hat, so war man bereits nach wenigen Sekunden froh, auf den Beinen zu sein. Direkt vor unserem Zimmer war eine riesige Dachterrasse. Morgenmantel an, T\u00fcr auf und bereits nach wenigen Schritten atmete man die klare, frische Bergluft. Purer Luxus. Wir genossen die herrliche Stille und den Blick auf die Berge. <\/span><\/p>\n

Trotz der Frischluft musste unbedingt ein Kaffee her. Zielstrebig ging ich zur Hotelbar. Bestimmt war auch eine Kaffeemaschine auf dem Zimmer – aber soweit war ich um diese Uhrzeit noch\u00a0nicht. Und wie erhofft, war eine Kaffeemaschine bereits aufgebaut. Jeder, der jetzt denkt – was ist das denn f\u00fcr ein 5 Sterne Haus, das eine Kaffeemaschine an die Hotelbar stellt? Sorry! Ich habe vergessen, zu berichten, dass von 9:30 – 10:30 Uhr das Fr\u00fchst\u00fcck im Gr\u00fcnen stattfinden sollte. Die Hallo-wach Maschine war f\u00fcr genau solche \u201eKoffein-Notf\u00e4lle“ wie uns gedacht. Ich denke es er\u00fcbrigt sich zu erw\u00e4hnen, dass wir nicht die Einzigen waren. Eine super Idee!!!! \u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Alarm was set for 7:30 in the morning. Even it has\u00a0ejected us from a snuggly bed violently, we were happy\u00a0to\u00a0be on our\u00a0feet after some moments. In front of our room was a huge roof terrace. Dressing gown taken, door opened and after a few steps you breath only\u00a0clean, fresh mountain air, isn’t this real luxury? It was a glorious silence and we enjoyed the view of the mountains. Despite the fresh air there was\u00a0need for a strong coffee. Determined I went to the hotel bar. Definitely there could have been a\u00a0coffee maker in the room – but \u00a0I was not thinking of this on this point of time\u00a0thanks to the apricot fountain\u00a0last night. And the desired coffee\u00a0was\u00a0ready to be served. Everyone might think\u00a0now – what kind of\u00a05 stars hotel this might be, a coffee maker built up at the hotel bar? Sorry! I forgot to report that 9:30 to 10:30 breakfast should take place outside on this day. The „hello – wake“ machine was\u00a0exactly for such „Caffeine emergencies“ like us and other guests. I think it is needless to say that we were not the only ones. A great idea !!!!<\/em><\/span><\/div>\n

Fr\u00fchst\u00fcck im Gr\u00fcnen – YOUNIQUE<\/span>r Luxus\u00a0<\/b>?Having breakfast<\/b>\u00a0on the Grass – YOUNIQUE<\/span> luxury<\/span><\/em><\/span><\/h3>\n
Nach und nach kamen alle zusammen und wir gingen los. Nach wenigen Minuten waren wir bereits angekommen. Wir waren einfach nur baff – so etwas Sch\u00f6nes, Geschmackvolles, Herzliches, Liebevolles und RIESIGES an Fr\u00fchst\u00fcck im Freien haben wir noch nie gesehen. Decken lagen auf der Erde oder f\u00fcr diejenigen, die sich gerne setzen wollten, lagen Strohballen umher. Zu feiner Bergmusik (Video<\/a>) war ein Buffet aufgebaut – Herz was willst Du mehr? Es w\u00e4re nicht m\u00f6glich, an dieser Stelle s\u00e4mtliche K\u00f6stlichkeiten aufzuz\u00e4hlen – aber der Hammer war die riesige Bratpfanne, aus der den G\u00e4sten frische Eierspeisen gereicht wurden. Zum Service geh\u00f6rten auch Mitarbeiter, die mit einigen verschiedenen Schinken oder W\u00fcrsten auf Holzbrettern umher gingen, um auch die G\u00e4ste zu versorgen, die m\u00f6glicherweise noch zu viel Met vom Vorabend intus hatten und sich auf einer der Decken ausruhten. Der Oberknaller waren zwei s\u00fc\u00dfe Esel – sie waren DAS Selfie-Motiv.<\/span><\/div>\n

Nachdem wir gem\u00fctlich an der frischen Luft gefr\u00fchst\u00fcckt hatten, ging es mit Musik (Video<\/a>) weiter. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Little by little, all came together and off we went. After a few minutes we arrived. We were absolutely\u00a0flabbergasted – something so beautiful, so tasty, so warm, loving and and\u00a0magnificent when it comes to breakfast outside, we have never seen before. Blankets lay on the ground, or for those who wanted to sit down,\u00a0hay bales were arranged. Accompanied by\u00a0fine mountain music (video) the\u00a0buffet was ready – what could the heart desire more? It would be unrealistic to list here every\u00a0of the numerous delights – but my\u00a0highlight\u00a0was the huge frying pan, from which fresh egg dishes were\u00a0served. The staff and employees also\u00a0<\/span>went to the guests who may have had too much Met the previous evening and were resting on one of the blankets. They served\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/em>several different kinds of ham or sausages on wooden boards.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/em>The big sensation\u00a0were two sweet donkeys – which were THE ultimate\u00a0motive for Selfies.\u00a0After we had open air breakfast, music went (video<\/a>) on.<\/span><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

Sportlich sportlich, Olympische Bergdisziplinen<\/b>?Sportive and athletic, Olympic mountain disciplines<\/span><\/em><\/span><\/h3>\n

Von weitem sahen wir einen Falken kreisen und wie er seine Beute, nat\u00fcrlich eine Attrappe, schlug. Kurz drauf bestaunten wir den J\u00e4ger der L\u00fcfte von nahem und lie\u00dfen uns von seinem Trainer in die Geheimnisse der Falknerei einweisen.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Unsere n\u00e4chste Station war die nahe Sportalm, wo Alois z\u00fcnftig ein olympisches Feuer entz\u00fcndete. Obwohl die G\u00e4ste einander kaum kannten, fanden sie sich schnell in acht Teams zusammen, um sich in f\u00fcnf Disziplinen zu beweisen.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

From a distance we saw a hawk circle and also how he hit his prey (Nothing living \/ style fabric prey). Shortly after that, one could admire the hunter of the skies from close up. After a short time we went on and reached our next stop, Sportalm where we were greeted by our\u00a0organization team. You could imagine already that it would be athletic and no later than that Alois had ignited the Olympic flame and we all knew – here we go – let the games begin.\u00a0Quickly we divided into eight teams – without knowing who actually obtained particular\u00a0strengths.\u00a0<\/em><\/span><\/div>\n

1. Disziplin – wie YOUNIQUE<\/span> kann das sein ? First\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>discipline – how\u00a0<\/span>YOUNIQUE<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0can it\u00a0be?<\/span><\/em><\/span><\/h4>\n
\n

Mit viel Tatendrang und Mut gingen wir los und ich sah bereits nach wenigen Metern meine Felle wegschwimmen. Das Team sollte einen Minnesang texten, in dem mindestens f\u00fcnf von acht vorgegeben Worten enthalten sein sollten. Zum Gl\u00fcck hatten wir zwei nette junge Damen in unserer Gruppe, die Noten lesen konnten und so schufen wir einen Text zur mitgelieferten Melodie, den wir schlie\u00dflich auch vorsingen mussten.<\/span><\/p>\n

With lots of energy and courage we went off and there was no chance for me in this discipline. The team should text a minstrelsy, which should be comprised of\u00a0maximum\u00a0eight and at least five\u00a0predefined words. For me an impossible discipline, but fortunately we also had two nice girls in our group who could read music notes and so we really created a text which we could sing according to the specified notes.<\/em><\/span><\/div>\n

2. Disziplin – Motoren und Geschicklichkeit<\/strong>?Second discipline – engines and skills\u00a0<\/em><\/span><\/h4>\n
\n

Die zweite Station war schon eher mein Ding: Traktorfahren mit Anh\u00e4nger. Nach kurzer Einweisung mussten wir den Traktor mit viel Gef\u00fchl zur\u00fccksetzen. An seiner Nase war ein Seil befestigt, das zwei Holzst\u00e4be auseinander zog. Und zwar so weit, dass der Traktor durchpasste. Aber auch nicht mehr, sonst gab es Strafpunkte. Beim anschlie\u00dfenden Slalomfahren durften die Pylonen nicht umfallen, was weitere Strafpunkte bedeutet h\u00e4tte.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The second station was way more my thing. Tractor driving with a trailer. After a short briefing we started. First you had to reverse the tractor with a lot of feeling. The reason was that is was attached on\u00a0the front of his nose to a rope which was\u00a0pulled apart by\u00a0two wooden sticks. \u00a0The farther they were apart from the wheels, the more penalty points there were. Then it was slalom and please without to overturn the pylons what would mean penalties again. From the young to the old – we had lots of fun.<\/em><\/span><\/div>\n

3. Disziplin\u00a0– S\u00e4gen, Nageln, Stemmen<\/strong>?Third discipline – sawing, nailing and steming<\/em><\/span><\/h4>\n

Ohne Pause ging es weiter zu Station 3. Hier war Geschicklichkeit beim Nageln, Kraft beim Ma\u00dfkrug stemmen und Harmonie beim Baumstamms\u00e4gen angesagt. (Video<\/a>).\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Without a break we continued to station number 3. Skill was be called for when nailing, lift force with the Ma\u00dfkrug and harmony during log sawing. (Video<\/a>).<\/em><\/span><\/div>\n

4. Disziplin\u00a0– Feingef\u00fchl und Genauigkeit\u00a0<\/strong>?Fourth discipline – sensitivity and accuracy<\/em><\/span><\/h4>\n

Die vierte Station entpuppte sich als Biathlon-Schiessanlage. Drei Profis wiesen uns in das Original KK Gewehr ein, das auch die Biathleten benutzen. Jeder hatte f\u00fcnf Probesch\u00fcsse und dann f\u00fcnf Sch\u00fcsse, die innerhalb von zwanzig Sekunden die Zielscheiben treffen mussten. Wie man es aus dem Fernsehen kennt, fielen je nach Sch\u00fctze mal mehr, mal weniger Scheiben. Unser Team zeigte, mit einem weiteren Team, die beste Leistung. Liebe Mitstreiter: wir waren toll!!!\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

In the biathlon shooting range we were greeted by three experts. We received a briefing on the original KK rifle, which the biathletes also use. Each of us had 5 sighting shots and then 5 shots which should meet the targets within 20 seconds. We were three people lying abreast and the instructor knelt beside. Just as you know it from television, depending on the\u00a0Sagittarius sometimes more, sometimes less slices were falling. At this point I have to say that our team, with another team had the best performance in this respect. Dear fellow\u00a0campaigners – we were great !!!<\/em><\/span><\/div>\n

5. Disziplin – die auserkorenen Skispringer<\/strong>?Fifth discipline – ski jumpers\u00a0<\/em><\/span><\/h4>\n
\n

Freiwillige vor hie\u00df es bei der letzten Disziplin. Ein Auserw\u00e4hlter pro Gruppe hatte zu zeigen, was er oder sie in der Kurzeinweisung des ehemaligen \u00f6sterreichischen Skispringers, Alexander Pointner, und ehemaligen Cheftrainers der \u00f6sterreichischen Skisprung-Nationalmannschaft gelernt hatten. Bei der Notenverteilung war von einer 17 Komma 0 bis zur 20 Komma 0 alles dabei.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

With joyful feeling we went to the last discipline. Here elected team members or also volunteers showed, what they have learned with the basic instruction of the former Austrian ski jumper, Alexander Pointner who is also\u00a0former Head coach of the Austrian ski jumping team. As in reality, the notes were distributed here. From 17-points to 20-points everything was there.<\/em><\/span><\/div>\n

Nachdem der Applaus f\u00fcr alle mutigen Springer verklungen war, lud die Sportalm\u00a0 zum Mittagsbrunch mit Musik. Zur\u00fcck zum Hotel Klosterbr\u00e4u gings zirka zehn Minuten zu Fuss oder mit dem BMW Shuttleservice. Wir entschieden uns f\u00fcrs Laufen.<\/span><\/p>\n

After the applause was over\u00a0for all bold ski jumpers\u00a0we went to the Sportalm, where we had our brunch with music. From Smalltalk here, Interview there, over to simple lazing around we spent the time until it was said – move – on you go. Of course everyone could choose how to return to the hotel Klosterbr\u00e4u. Actually there were only two choices. Either by foot (about 10 min) or with the BMW shuttle service. We decided to walk.<\/em><\/span><\/div>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n

Unterwegs\u00a0ergab sich aber dann noch eine dritte M\u00f6glichkeit. Alois kam mit dem Traktor vorbei und sammelte einige Freiwillige zur Gaudi Heimfahrt ein.<\/span><\/div>\n

Nat\u00fcrlich kamen wir wohlbehalten im Hotel gegen 15:00 Uhr an. Zeit genug,\u00a0um sich im Zimmer kurz auszuruhen oder zum Bummeln durch Seefeld zu schlendern. \u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Alois came over with the tractor and collected some of us\u00a0\u00a0to a Gaudi drive home.\u00a0Do not worry, we all arrived safely at the hotel at around 15:00 o’clock. Nun war es soweit. Unsere Gastgeber, Familie Seyrling, Presse und G\u00e4ste sowie Prominente aus den verschiedensten Branchen trafen sich in der Hotelhalle zu Aperitif & Flying Vorspeisen. F\u00fcr eine angenehme Stimmung sorgte wieder einmal die engagierte Band (video<\/a>).\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Now it was time. Our hosts, family Seyrling, press, guests and celebrities from various sectors met in the lobby to Aperitif & Flying appetizers. For a pleasant mood once again the dedicated band was booked (video<\/a>)<\/span>.<\/em><\/span><\/div>\n

Gegen 19:15 war es dann soweit und wir begaben uns in den ersten Stock, wo uns das gesetzte Dinner an einer 60 Meter langen Tafel erwartete – was f\u00fcr ein Luxus. Die Sitzplatzverteilung war nach einem einfachen, aber sehr praktischen Prinzip vorgesehen – n\u00e4mlich gar keinem.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Around 19:15 it was time and we went to the first floor where the dinner should take place on a 60 meter long dinner table\u00a0– what a luxury. The seat distribution was provided by a simple, but very practical principle – namely\u00a0no principle at all.<\/em><\/span><\/div>\n

So entstanden rein zuf\u00e4llige Sitzgruppierungen – oder die Chance das Gespr\u00e4ch vom Aperitif an der Tafel weiter zu f\u00fchren. Uns gegen\u00fcber sa\u00dfen langj\u00e4hrige G\u00e4ste des Hotel Klosterbr\u00e4u – Sie geh\u00f6rten fast schon zum Inventar. W\u00e4hrend der Suppe, dem Entree und dem Hauptgang lernten wir uns kennen und tauschten viele interessante Erlebnisse, ob privat oder beruflich aus. Die K\u00fcche sorgte sehr gut f\u00fcr alle und auf Chichi und \u00fcbersichtliche Portionen wurde verzichtet. Irgendwie hatte Alois es wohl schon geahnt, dass es eine ausschweifende\u00a0Nacht werden k\u00f6nnte – f\u00fcr Jedermann, der sich noch etwas mehr st\u00e4rken wollte, standen die Kellner mit einem Nachschlag an Fleisch und Gem\u00fcse bereit. Die Gesellschaft war bestens gelaunt und in ihren Gespr\u00e4chen vertieft.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

In this manner purely random seat groupings emerged. Opposite of us longtime guests of Hotel Klosterbr\u00e4u made themselves comfortable – They almost belonged to the inventory of the house. As\u00a0the soup, the entree and the main course were served we got to know one another and exchanged many interesting experiences, whether privately or professionally. Somehow Alois had already in mind\u00a0that it could be a hell of a long night – for anyone who still wanted to strengthen a little more, the waiters were ready with a second helping\u00a0of meat and vegetables. The Gala society\u00a0was in a great mood\u00a0and deepened in their conversations.<\/em><\/span><\/div>\n

Diese Stimmung nahmen wir mit auf den Weg in den urigen, 500 Jahre alten Weinkeller des Klosterbr\u00e4u. Geschmackvoller und exklusiver kann man ein Dessert und Digestif nicht geniessen.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

This mood we took to the road into the quaint, 500-year old wine cellar of the Klosterbr\u00e4u. You could\u00a0never enjoy a dessert and digestif in a more tasty and exclusive manner.<\/em><\/span><\/div>\n

Einige verweilten dort etwas l\u00e4nger, andere zog es an den Spieltisch in die Kaiser Maximilian Lounge, in der\u00a0das Casino Seefeld High-Roller-Roulette pr\u00e4sentierte oder sie machten sich z\u00fcgig auf den Weg zum Mythos \u201eKanne“, wo uns die Band „The Gang“ bereits erwartete. Von 0 auf 100 in zwei Sekunden, so k\u00f6nnte man es beschreiben, ging die Party bis in die fr\u00fchen Morgenstunden.<\/span><\/p>\n

Some stayed there a little longer, others were attracted by the game table in the Emperor Maximilian lounge, where High Roller Roulette was presented by the Casino Seefeld. \u00a0Others made themselves quickly on their\u00a0way to the myth „Kanne“\u00a0where the band „The Gang „already expected us. From 0 to 100 in two seconds, one could describe it, the party went on into the early hours of the next morning.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

Was danach noch geschah ist und bleibt im Hotel – ein altes Gesetz. Aber einen kleinen Einblick von uns wollen wir allen Lesern noch mit unseren nachfolgenden Bildern gew\u00e4hren. Die Kellner und der Chef Alois sorgten daf\u00fcr, dass kein Becher trocken blieb.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Gut gelaunt und todm\u00fcde machten wir uns, irgendwann in fr\u00fcher Morgenstunde auf in Richtung Zimmer. Treppen steigen – jetzt? Niemals! Der Lift musste her. Auf dem Weg in den zweiten Stock entdeckten wir das Notfallkastl samt Schl\u00fcssel. Zuerst dachte ich mir nichts dabei. Aber dann \u00f6ffneten wir es und was war drin? Eine Flasche Obstbrand und zwei Gl\u00e4ser. Konnte das wirklich sein? Ich musste mich \u00fcberzeugen und startete mutig den Selbstversuch. Unglaublich, aber wahr und es ist nicht \u00fcbertrieben, wenn wir sagen: „Das ist der sicherste Aufzug, in dem wir bis heute je gefahren sind\u201c\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Filled with great mood\u00a0and tired we went in the direction to our room. Stairs – now? No way! The elevator\u00a0was needed. On the way to the second floor, we discovered the „emergency Kastl“ including\u00a0key. At first\u00a0I did not think about anything special to appear, then\u00a0we opened it and what was inside? A bottle of fruit brandy and two glasses. Was that really possible? I had to convince myself and launched the courageous self-experiment. Der Morgen stand unter dem Motto \u201eWellness & Zukunft\u201c. Von Wellness waren wir sofort \u00fcberzeugt, aber Zukunft?\u00a0Um acht Uhr wurde Pilates angeboten und um neun Uhr Yoga. Definitiv zu fr\u00fch f\u00fcr uns. Da lockte uns eher der Brunch f\u00fcr Fr\u00fchaufsteher und Langschl\u00e4fer von 7:30 bis 11 Uhr. Die Kr\u00e4fte kamen wieder, die M\u00fcdigkeit zog von dannen und wir konnten gest\u00e4rkt in den Tag starten. Alexandra freute sich auf ihre Gesichtsbehandlung, die bereits bei der Ankunft verabredet wurde. F\u00fcr sie h\u00e4tte der Zeitpunkt nicht passender sein k\u00f6nnen; aber was war mit mir?\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The next morning the motto was Wellness & Future. Gorgeous! In wellness we were at that moment yet, but the future? We dared not to express any presumption. From 8:00 to 9:00 Pilates and from 9:00 yoga were offered. Of course, matching the motto but definitely too early for us. But family Seyrling had a good instinct for their guests: Brunch for all early risers and late risers 7:30 to 11:00, which for us was just perfect. Our\u00a0forces came back again, the tiredness\u00a0disappeared and we could strengthen to start the day. Alexandra had a facial, for which the\u00a0appointment\u00a0was\u00a0made fix upon arrival day. For Alexandra\u00a0we could not have made it more appropriate\u00a0and what about me?<\/em><\/span><\/div>\n

F\u00fcr mich standen Bierbrauen und Verkostung mit Friso K\u00f6hle – Bierbrauer des Klosterbr\u00e4u – auf der\u00a0Agenda. Das konnte doch nicht wahr sein. Ganz getreu dem Motto: Raus aus dem Rausch und wieder rein in den Rausch? Aber so wild wurde es nat\u00fcrlich nicht. Wir lernten sehr viel \u00fcber die Braukunst und Geschichte. Wussten Sie z.B., dass diejenigen, die ausschliesslich Bier tranken nicht an Pest oder Cholera erkrankten, weil das Wasser f\u00fcr das Bier damals gekocht wurde? Oder, dass Friso \u00fcber 900 Liter einer Art \u201eTestversuch Bier\u201c braute und Ihm erst danach eingefallen war: \u201eWas ist wenn das den Leuten nicht schmeckt?\u201c Dieses Bier nennen Kenner die dunkle Bedrohung, denn es handelte sich um ein hochprozentiges Dunkelbier mit kr\u00e4ftigem Geschmack und einer tiefroten Farbe. Aber ein Gl\u00fcck –\u00a0 zum Wegsch\u00fctten kam es nicht. Zu Gast waren in dem Jahr mehrere Hundert Polizisten, die gen\u00fcsslich den Testversuch vernichteten. Friso, Dein Bier muss gut gewesen sein!\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

On my plan there it was\u00a0beer brewing and tasting with Friso K\u00f6hle – brewer of Klosterbr\u00e4u. That could not be true. True to the motto: Get away from the intoxication\u00a0and getting back into intoxication. But it was not so bad. We learned a lot about the art of brewing and its history. Or did you know, that Friso \u00a0brewed about 900 liters of a kind of „test experimental beer“\u00a0and it\u00a0had occurred to him only afterwards: „What if the the people do not like it? „This beer connoisseurs call the Phantom menace, because it is a high-proof dark beer with a strong taste and a deep red color. But fortunately – to pour it away, it did not come to that. In this particular year\u00a0several hundred policemen who were\u00a0guests there gleefully destroyed the test trial. Friso, your beer must have been good!<\/em><\/span><\/div>\n

Das Neueste am Bierhimmel ist das Champagnerbier. Dazu wird Champagnerhefe verwendet, soviel k\u00f6nnen wir sagen (video<\/a>). Heller oder klarer, als im Video\u00a0zu sehen ginge nur mit Zusatzstoffen wie z.B. Zucker und wer glaubt, dass das Oktoberfest Bier mit rund 6 Vol% stark ist, der sollte das Champagnerbier mit Vorsicht genie\u00dfen, denn es kommt auf 7-8Vol%. Ein wahrer Genuss, den man nicht im Ma\u00df trinkt.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The Latest on Bierhimmel the champagne beer. Given champagne yeast is used as far as we can tell (video<\/a>). For a short break I went\u00a0back to our room where my Alexandra was waiting for me, totally relaxed. She grinned and told me about the facial treatment ->\u00a0it began with the fact that I was welcomed friendly by Mrs Inka. She\u00a0asked me some questions about my skin and wanted to know what is important to me with the treatment. Due to the last party night today I wanted to look naturally fresh and rested, which I did not before the treatment. The room was bright and smelled fine. Quickly one lies comfortably on the treatment table and dives into a relaxed world. Biergeschichten und Bierverkostung ist nat\u00fcrlich auch Wellness f\u00fcr K\u00f6rper und Geist,\u00a0aber mein K\u00f6rper verlangte nach mehr. Und das fand ich bei einem weiteren Highlight in der Sauna des Klosterbr\u00e4u.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Oh great and when begins my spa day? Yes I’ll admit – complaints\u00a0at the highest level. Tales of Beer and beer tasting is wellness for body and mind as well. Even if one can not believe that could\u00a0exist a significant increase on such a day, we were open to\u00a0condition. And this is how we expected a further highlight in the sauna of the Klosterbr\u00e4u.<\/em><\/span><\/div>\n

Saunameister Klaus. Nichts ahnend haben wir uns kurz in der handgefertigten Sauna, die aus einzelnen St\u00fccken wie ein Kunstwerk zusammengesetzt war, aufgew\u00e4rmt. Klaus gab uns dann Franzbranntwein Gel (eisgek\u00fchlt), welches wir von dem rechten Fussgelenk an beginnend im Wechsel an die Gelenke bis hin zur Schl\u00e4fe einrieben. Nach einem kurzen Moment war das schier Unm\u00f6gliche geschafft: G\u00e4nsehaut in der Sauna bei 90 Grad. So hielten wir es kaum aus und waren dankbar f\u00fcr jedes Wedeln mit\u00a0heisser Luft. Aber der K\u00e4lteschock sollte noch kommen, als wir nach drausssen an die frische Luft kamen. Das Frischluft Zuwedeln w\u00e4re hier nicht notwendig gewesen – was kommt nach kalt…eis…eiskalt…und nachdem die Lungen mit frischer Luft gef\u00fcllt waren, gingen wir zur Dusche. Wer dachte, dass es keine Steigerung gibt, der hatte sich get\u00e4uscht. Wir wurden jeder einzeln gezielt mit dem eiskalten Wasser abgekneippt.\u00a0Endlich konnten wir uns wieder in die Sauna legen \u2013 bis es uns schliesslich\u00a0warm wurde. Seltsamerweise waren wir noch niemals so erfrischt und fit nach einem Saunagang und es gel\u00fcstete uns nicht nach Ruhen.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Saunameister Klaus. Unsuspecting we briefly warmed up in the handmade sauna which was composed of individual pieces as an artwork. Klaus gave us rubbing alcohol gel (iced), which we\u00a0arranged on our skin starting with\u00a0the right ankle changing to the left and other joints as well. After a brief moment the almost\u00a0impossible became true: Chilling in the sauna at 90 degrees. While trembling we\u00a0were grateful for every wag of hot air. But the cold shock was yet to come when we came into the fresh air outside. The fresh air and additional wags here would not have been necessary – what comes after cold … ice … cold …\u00a0and after our lungs were filled with fresh air, we went to the shower. Those who thought that there is no increase, should be\u00a0mistaken. Each of us was individually splashed\u00a0with the icy water according to methods of\u00a0famous Mr. Kneipp. With a fresh towel we should again relax\u00a0in the sauna – until it was getting warm. This process had needed its time, but then was lukewarm we were\u00a0advised to take a shower\u00a0with warm water. Of course, there was fresh fruits, tea and water and various relaxation areas. Strangely, we have\u00a0never been so refreshed and fit after sauna, and it has not lusted us to rest.<\/em><\/span><\/div>\n

Das Ger\u00fccht, es g\u00e4be einen Keller, in dem Bier aus der Wand flie\u00dft, weckte unseren Entdeckerdrang. Ein zweites P\u00e4rchen schloss sich uns an und wir erkundeten einen mystischen Gew\u00f6lbekeller, in dem das Bier aus der Wand (video<\/a>) gezapft werden und man es sich bei Kerzenschein und einer Partie Schach gem\u00fctlich machen kann. Solange wollten wir allerdings nicht verweilen und probierten einfach, ob das Bier auch so schmeckte.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

With the rumor that there is a special basement, where beer would flow out of the wall, the discoverer urge was tremendously awakened. A second couple joined us and we discovered a mystical vaulted cellar, where the beer could be tapped \u00a0out of the wall (video<\/a>) and you could make yourself comfortable with candlelight and a game of chess. But this\u00a0long we did not want to linger, however, and tried simply whether the beer was of\u00a0good taste.<\/em><\/span><\/div>\n

Das tat es und so gingen wir zufrieden zur\u00fcck. Frisch waren wir ja bereits nach dem irren Saunagang – aber auch sauber? Im SPA Bereich des 500 Jahre alten Hotel Klosterbr\u00e4u gibt es Fussbecken mit sehr flinken Putzfischen. Was es in der Tierwelt schon lange gibt, ist f\u00fcr viele Menschen noch neu.\u00a0Kostet die Prozedur auch \u00dcberwindung, die Neugier ist gr\u00f6\u00dfer. Beim witzigen Service der Kangalfische (Garra Rufa) kribbelt es leicht und man muss dabei herzlich lachen.\u00a0So waren wir sauber und frisch f\u00fcr das bevorstehende Dinner.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

It did and so we went back with satisfaction. We were refreshened after the sauna – but also clean? In SPA area of the 500 year old Hotel Klosterbr\u00e4u there is also a foot pool with cleaning fishes. What is very common with the\u00a0animal world has long been and still is innovative\u00a0to many people. Great service of the hotel and great service of kangal fishes (Garra Rufa). It tingles slightly, is just funny and you also\u00a0have to laugh here. Now we were fresh and clean for the upcoming dinner.\u00a0<\/em><\/span><\/div>\n

Nach einem Glas Champagner und einem kleinen Plausch gingen wir in das Restaurant mit Tiroler Look. Da wir wissen, dass die \u00f6sterreichischen Winzer hervorragenden Gr\u00fcnen Veltliner & Zweigelt produzieren, haben wir uns diese als Weinbegleitung zum Essen ausgesucht. Wir hatten einen sch\u00f6nen Vierertisch in der Ecke und konnten nicht nur das Essen geniessen, sondern auch die W\u00e4rme und Harmonie des ganzen Raumes.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

After a glass of champagne and a little chat we went to the restaurant with tirol flair. Since we know that the Austrian winemakers produce outstanding green Veltliner & Zweigelt, we have chosen these varieties as wines for dinner. We had a nice table for four in the corner and could not only enjoy the food, but also the warmth and harmony of the whole setting and place.\u00a0<\/em><\/span><\/div>\n
