Lech am Arlberg is at 1.444 m and is a small town with 1503 inhabitants. The resort is one of the most fashionable ski resorts in the world. Since the year 1959, the Dutch Royal family has been coming to this cozy resort. The former Formula 1 driver Damon Hill has examined the slopes here already. <\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

The list of all the celebrities to enumerate would be very long. Well, Renee Zellweger in Bridget Jones – shot down the slope already. The atmosphere in this resort in Vorarlberg to describe is almost impossible. Rush is a foreign word, whether on the lift or on the short „Shopping Mile“. <\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

Wir waren G\u00e4ste im Romantik-Hotel „Die Krone von Lech<\/a><\/span>„. Die Lage des Hotels ist f\u00fcr uns perfekt. Durch die zentrale Lage im Ort hat man kurze Wege.\u00a0Das Skigebiet von Lech, verbunden mit Z\u00fcrs, St. Aton und St. Christof ist traumhaft sch\u00f6n und \u00a0bietet f\u00fcr Anf\u00e4nger bis hin zum K\u00f6nner alles. Der Apr\u00e8s Ski auf der Terrasse vor dem Hotel liegt ideal. Man kommt aus dem Skikeller und ist sofort mitten im Geschehen. <\/span><\/p>\n

Apropos Skikeller, wenn man nicht andere Hotelg\u00e4ste in Ihren Ski-dresses sehen w\u00fcrde, k\u00f6nnte man meinen in einer Wellnessoase zu sein. Dass der Service oder auch Verleih direkt mit dem Skikeller integriert ist, haben wir sehr gesch\u00e4tzt.\u00a0Wie in anderen Luxusskiorten auch, fliesst der Champagner flaschenweise und das auch schon vormittags. Prosecco findet man hier maximal im Hugo.<\/span><\/p>\n

Why the Hotel is unique<\/span><\/span><\/em><\/h3>\n

We were guests at the Hotel „Die Krone von Lech“. The hotel is situated perfect for us. Due to its central location in the village it has short distances to any hotspot. The ski resort of Lech, connected to Z\u00fcrs, St. Aton and St. Christof is beautiful and offers everything from beginners to advanced skiers. The apr\u00e8s ski on the terrace in front of the hotel is ideal. You come from the ski cellar and are immediately part of the action. <\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

Speaking about the cellar, if you would not see other guests in their ski dresses, one might think to be in a wellness oasis with dimmed lights and exclusive furniture. The fact that the service or rental is directly integrated with the cellar, we have mostly appreciated. As in other luxury resorts also, the champagne is never ending starting in the morning. Prosecco can be found here only in Hugo Cocktails.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

Wellnessbereich \/ SPA<\/em>\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

Wer es nicht zu sehr krachen l\u00e4sst, der findet sich vor dem Abendessen, im Wellnessbereich ein. Nat\u00fcrlich ist dieser mit allem versehen, was man zu entspannen braucht. Verschiedene Pools, sowie T\u00fcrkisches Dampfbad, Bio- als auch Finnische Sauna, sowie die M\u00f6glichkeit diverse Wellness Behandlungen zu buchen findet man vor.<\/span><\/p>\n

Those who do want to let heel loose that much, find themselves before dinner, in the SPA. Of course, this is provided with everything you need to relax. Reserve treatments, various pools and turkish steam bath, bio and Finnish sauna, it\u2019s all there.\u00a0<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

Kulinarik<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

Die K\u00fcche ist fantastisch und sehr flexibel um ihren G\u00e4sten jeden Wunsch zu erf\u00fcllen. Statt einem Hauptgang mit Reh entschied sich unser zehner Familien Nachbartisch lieber f\u00fcr gebackene Blutwurst. Einige Leser verdrehen bestimmt jetzt die Augen – aber alle anderen G\u00e4ste um den Tisch herum streckten die Nasen. Wer h\u00e4tte gedacht , dass ein zarter Rehr\u00fccken so ins Abseits gestellt werden konnte.\u00a0Werner Leibner<\/a> und seine Kollegen, die Sommeliers des Hauses, fanden aus 25.000 Flaschen Wein auch dazu den Passenden. <\/span><\/p>\n

Sollten Sie einmal Gast sein, dann fragen Sie nach einer Weinprobe – diese wird auch die Nichtweinkenner begeistern. Man bekommt vielschichtige Einblicke und Informationen beispielsweise in verschiedene Weine \u00d6sterreichs fernab davon das f\u00fcnfte Beerenaroma des Weines herauszuschmecken. Wissen Sie z.B. wie tief eine 15 Jahre alte Weinrebe wurzelt oder wo es die besten Gr\u00fcnen Veltliner der Welt gibt ? Bei der Weinprobe k\u00f6nnen Sie es ergr\u00fcnden, es lohnt sich.<\/span><\/p>\n

Culinary<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

The kitchen is incredible and very flexible to their guests to meet your needs. Instead of a main course with deer, our families at neighboring table opted rather for grilled blood sausages. Some readers might twist their eyes now – but all the other guests around the table stretched their noses. Who would have thought that a tender saddle of venison could be put aside for blood sausages? Werner Leibner<\/a> and his colleagues, the sommeliers of the house always found, out of 25,000 bottles of wine available the right companion to every venue and our taste. <\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

Should you be a guest, then ask for a wine tasting – this will inspire even non-wine connoisseurs. You get variable insights and information, for example in different excellent austrian wines. They avoid to bore the audience by finding the fifth berry flavor of the wine. Have you known how deeply a 15 years old vine roots into the ground or where there is the best Gr\u00fcner Veltliner in the world? When tasting, you can understand it, it’s more than worth it.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

Warum wir wiederkommen<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

Gute Weine kann man kaufen, Wellnesstempel bauen und Zimmer oder Lobbys mit allem ausstatten was zu kaufen ist – aber es sind die Geschichten und die Pers\u00f6nlichkeiten der Mitarbeiter dort, von denen man den Eindruck hat, sie seien eine gro\u00dfe Familie, in der man w\u00e4hrend seines Aufenthaltes aufgenommen wird, die uns dazu bewegen wiederzukommen in das Romantik-Hotel Krone von Lech.<\/span><\/p>\n
