Arriving at Jumeirah at Saadiyat Island Resort

The Island Resort is easy to get to. You can reach it after about 20 minutes, as we did with our rental car, which we already booked in Germany. (Recommendation not to book a navigation system, but to use a data volume package on site via the smartphone and then use it as a navigation system)

Check-in

Arrived at Jumeirah at Saadiyat Island, a perfect parking service awaits the guest. Coffee and dates were traditionally served. The check-in at the reception is precise with a natural friendliness. During the check-in we were already refreshed with a cool, homemade lemonade (lime and mint).

Ocean Suite with King Size-bed

The room is classy and modern, exquisite and cozy. There is a comfortable seating area on the balcony and can let your mind wander with a breathtaking sea view.

In the spacious bathroom with walk-in shower, separate bathtub and luxurious care products make you feel immediately at ease.

The king size bed is very comfortable and cozy and you can feel a sea breeze when the door is open.

Beach and Pool at Jumeirah at Saadiyat Island

Jumeirah at Saadiyat Island Resort not only has the most beautiful beach on the island, it is also the birth beach for sea turtles. 70 turtles found their way into the open sea this year. Out of respect for the sea turtles, there is no motorized water sport there either.

After a short walk across a footbridge that goes through the dunes, perfect service awaits the guest. The desired bed and the umbrella are prepared with towels and an employee comes by at the push of a button to take an order. Chilled and fragrant towels, refreshing shoots such as cranberry or pineapple and frozen fruit ice cream are served during the day.

The pool area is also tastefully designed, but we always preferred the sea.

Environment

The resort is committed to restricting the use of plastic bottles to protect the island’s habitat. For this purpose, the hotel provides free, reusable bottles for each guest, which can be refilled at water stations. Throughout the resort, filtered water is served in glass bottles on site and plastic straws have been abolished.

We find this a nice one and contemporary approach is to save plastic.

The hotel won the Trade Arabia Prize and was the first in UAE to win the Oceanic Global Award ( https://oceanic.global/oceanic-standard/ ) excellent.

Breakfast

Every morning at the juice bar, we were pleased with the daily various juice creations, which were freshly squeezed.

In addition to the live cooking stations with international dishes, we were fascinated by the different sorbet ice cream varieties. A wonderfully refreshing end to the breakfast.

Restaurants of Jumeirah at Saadiyat Island

Here is our choice of restaurant for stays of three days. In all restaurants or bars, guests can choose from exquisite wines, various beers or spirits.

But if you want to avoid alcohol, you should devote yourself to the mocktails. We experienced a truly unique mocktail challenge. The house created the right mocktail for all dishes. We were allowed to enjoy countless variations and did not miss the glass of wine for dinner.

Tean

Just a few steps from the sea we enjoyed the true Levantine gourmet culture with all the flavors of the region.

The tea team prides itself on processing only the best ingredients available, bringing traditional Arabic cuisine to a higher level.

Mare Mare

The Mare Mare restaurant was named after the Italian word for “sea” and this is reflected in its location with a wonderful view of the pool and the sea.

Classic dishes, homemade pasta, meat and fish dishes tasted great in the sea air.

We chose the starters from the menu. We left the main course and the dessert to the chef’s recommendation.

The Offside Sports Lounge is a cozy, typical sports lounge where there is not only a large number of TVs but also a huge screen. The menu carries everything you could expect in this location.

The spa has a very luxurious and pleasant atmosphere.

With 2,700 square meters and 15 treatment rooms, it is a perfect place to be pampered or to recharge your batteries.

The gym has the quality of a very modern gym and is open 24 hours. From yoga, separate warm-up rooms, classrooms, modern equipment to expert trainers, the guest is offered everything on two floors and doing sports in an air-conditioned room is a lot of fun here.

The Jumeirah at Saadiyat Island Resort offers numerous opportunities to spend a wonderful time.
