An-und Abreise zur EuroMotor Messe in Stuttgart mit BMW

Es ist Donnerstagmorgen und drei arbeitsreiche Messetage stehen vor uns. W&W 360 Grad GmbH ist, wie im Jahr davor, Aussteller bei der EuroMotor & Lifestyle Messe in Stuttgart. Auch wenn es nur 214 Kilometer von Unterschleissheim in das Mövenpick Hotel Stuttgart Airport & Messe sind, haben wir beschlossen, nicht nur in aller Ruhe, sondern auch bequem und komfortabel anzureisen. Dazu haben wir uns einen X1, den kleinsten der SUV´s von BMW, ausgesucht. Aber was bedeutet schon klein?

Arrival and departure to EuroMotor exhibition in Stuttgart with BMW

It is Thursday morning and three busy exhibition days are to wait for us. W&W 360 is exhibitor at the Euromotor & Lifestyle exhibition in Stuttgart, just as the year before. Even if it is „only“ 214 km from Unterschleißheim to the Mövenpick Hotel Stuttgart Airport & Messe, we have decided not only to travel in peace, but also to travel comfortably. This is the reason why we chose an X1, the smallest of BMW’s SUV’s. Well, what is small anyhow ?

Raumangebot und Ladewunder

Neben Koffern und Taschen mussten auch noch sämtliche Messeaufsteller, sowie ein kleiner Kühlschrank und eine Kaffeemaschine eingeladen werden.Wir brachten alles gut unter, auch wenn etwas Kofferraumtetris gespielt werden musste. Das lag nicht am mangelnden Platz, sondern vielmehr an dem sperrigen Gepäck. Angenehm war dabei, dass die Ladehöhe rückenfreundlich ist. Außerdem praktisch ist ein Sensor unter der hinteren Stoßstange, der das Öffnen mit dem Fuss auslöst, wenn man die Hände voll hat.

Space Offer

In addition to suitcases and bags had all the trade fair stands, as well as a small refrigerator and a coffee machine needed to be packed. It all fitted well, even though some trunk space Tetris had to be played. This was not the lack of space, but rather the bulky luggage. It was pleasant that the loading height was back-friendly. Also practical: when you have your hands loaded with stuff, a sensor under the rear bumper, which triggers opening with the foot.  

X1 M Sport

Wir hatten das Modell X1 M Sport, 2.5i mit 231 PS. Nach kurzer Einweisung durch BMW Verkäufer Oliver Schmid reizte mich am meisten der Tempomat und Abstandsmesser. Kaum, dass wir auf der Autobahn waren wurde es von mir aktiviert. In den ersten fünf Minuten ist es ungewohnt – das Auto bremst, beschleunigt und hat dabei immer den richtigen Sicherheitsabstand. Hier ist mir aufgefallen, dass ansonsten in der Regel viel zu dicht aufgefahren wird. Nach kurzer Zeit war das Ungewohnte weg und man hatte Freude am Fahren. In unserem Fall ging es nicht um das Handling auf einer Rennstrecke – vielmehr ging es darum, wieviel Arbeit das Auto dem Fahrer abnimmt. Nach zwei Stunden Fahrt kamen wir stressfrei an.   We chose the BMW SUV X1 M Sport, 2.5i with 231 hp. After a short briefing by BMW salesman Oliver Schmid, the cruise control and distance meter appealed to me the most. No sooner that we were on the highway, it was activated by me. In the first five minutes it is very unfamiliar – the car brakes, accelerates and always has the right safety distance. Here I noticed that usually people tailgate. After a short time, the unaccustomed was gone and one had pleasure in driving. In our case, it was not about handling on a racetrack – it was rather about how much work the car takes from the driver. After two hours drive we arrived without stress.

Fazit zum Auto

Am Sonntag war wieder Abreisetag und Alles musste abgebaut und verpackt werden. Wir müssen nicht erwähnen, dass uns besonders die Füße und Beine nach 13 Stunden Messetag schmerzten. Auch wenn es vielleicht nur eine Kleinigkeit ist – aber das Ein- und Aussteigen war einfach wunderbar. Unglaublich, was ein paar cm an Höhe ausmachen können! Unser Fazit nach 428 km und drei Tagen Messe: X1 – wir mögen Dich!

Summary on the car

On Sunday was departure day again and everything had to be dismantled and packaged. I do not have to mention that our feet and legs hurt after 13 hours of the exhibition day. Even though it is perhaps only a small thought – but getting in and out was just wonderful. Our conclusion after 428 km and three days of exhibition with lots of stuff to bring: X1 – we like you!  

Unterkunft – Mövenpick Hotel Stuttgart Airport&Messe

Als Aussteller ist es uns wichtig ein Hotel zu finden, was nahe der Messe liegt, gut anzureisen ist und allen Komfort nach einem langen Messetag bietet. Das Mövenpick Hotel Stuttgart Airport&Messe ist ein 4 Sterne Superior Hotel und hat all unseren Ansprüchen entsprochen. Die Lage ist optimal. Zur Messe sind es ca. 200 Meter und nur 50 Meter zum Flughafen, wo es auch eine S-Bahn Station gibt. Auch wenn wir nicht mit einem Elektrofahrzeug angereist sind, so wollen wir erwähnen, dass in der Hoteltiefgarage eine Ladestation vorhanden ist. As an exhibitor, it is important to us to find a hotel that is close to EuroMotor exhibition,that is easy to approach and offers all comfort after a long day of exhibition. The Mövenpick Hotel Stuttgart Airport & Messe is a 4 star superior hotel and has met all our requirements. The location is perfect and the exhibition is about 200 meters and only 50 meters to the airport, where there is also an S-Bahn station. Even if we did not arrive in an electric vehicle, we want to mention that there is a charging station in the hotels underground car park.

Ankunft im Hotel

An der Rezeption wurden wir herzlich empfangen. Einchecken ging flott und während dieser kurzen Zeit konnte man sich bei einem Glas Wasser oder hausgemachten Ice Tee erfrischen. Wer zufällig zur Kaffée- und Teestunde anreist, oder sich gerade zu dieser Zeit im Foyer aufhält, kann sich an leckeren Pralinen oder Schokolade von einem Teewagen erfreuen. Der erste Eindruck vom Zimmer war sehr gut und es herrschte eine angenehme Wohlfühlatmosphäre. Für uns ist dieser Faktor sehr wichtig. Auch wenn meistens keine acht Stunden Schlaf zu schaffen sind, so möchten wir uns dennoch für diese kurze „Freizeit“ wohl fühlen, um neue Kräfte für den nächsten Tag zu sammeln.

At the front desk we were warmly welcomed. The check in was fast and during this short time you could refresh yourself with a glass of water or homemade ice tea. If you happen to arrive during coffee and tea time, or you are in the foyer at the time, you can enjoy delicious chocolates or chocolate from a tea car. The first impression of the room was very good and there was a pleasant feel-good atmosphere. This factor is very important to us. Even if there eight hours of sleep are usually not possible, we still want to feel comfortable for this short „leisure“ to gather new strength for the next day.

Kulinarik im Restaurant Trollinger des Mövenpick – Culinary highlights at Mövenpick

Gegen Abend quälte uns der Hunger. Im Haus befindet sich das Restaurant Trollinger. Die herzlichen und kompetenten Mitarbeiter des Services haben uns kurz auf die Highlights der Speisekarte aufmerksam gemacht. Auch wenn das Twingle-Dinner normalerweise vorbestellt werden muss, kam auf nachfragen des Service für uns das „ok“ aus der Küche. Es wäre wirklich zu schade gewesen, wenn wir dieses 4 Gang Menü, incl. einer Flasche Wein für insgesamt 73€ verpasst hätten.

Twingle Menue

Faced with famine we went down to the restaurant Trollinger. The cordial and competent staff of the service pointed out to us the highlights of the menu. Even if the Twingle dinner normally has to be pre-ordered, the service asked for the „ok“ from the kitchen and the team made it possible. It would have been a shame if we had missed this 4 course menu, including a bottle of wine for a total of 73 €.

Am nächsten Morgen ging es mit Essen weiter. Das Frühstücksbuffet konnte in jeder Hinsicht überzeugen. Vom Bündner Fleisch, frisch zubereiteten Eierspeisen, frischem Obst, Käse, Wurst, verschiedenen Brotsorten, Teewasser mit unterschiedlichen Temperaturen für die jeweiligen Teesorte uvm., war Alles geboten.

The next morning we went on with food. The breakfast buffet was convincing in every way. From the Bündnerfleisch, freshly prepared egg dishes, fresh fruits, cheese, sausages, different breads, tea water with different temperatures for the respective tea variety and much more, everything was offered to create a good basis for the day.

Ausklang und Entspannung im Hotel – end of the day and relaxation at the hotel

Auch wenn jeder Messetag offiziell auf dem Messegelände sein Ende findet, so trifft man sich im B2B Bereich oder mit Messegästen, die auch im Mövenpick Hotel wohnen gerne noch zu einem Absacker an der Hotelbar oder in der Kaminlounge. Barkeeper Matthias Würfel zauberte jedem von uns einen leckeren Cocktail zum Ausklang des Businesstages. Wir hatten einen Duke & the Rabbit und einen Chao Praya. Beides (Hauptbestandteil Gin) können wir nur empfehlen und schmeckt angenehm frisch.

Even if every day of the exhibition is officially concluded at the exhibition grounds, you can meet in the B2B area or with guests, who also live in the Mövenpick Hotel, for a nightcap at the hotel bar or in the Kaminlounge. Bartender Matthias Würfel mixed a delicious cocktail for each of us to the end of the business day. We had a Duke & the Rabbit and a Chao Praya. Both (main ingredient Gin) we can highly recommend as the  taste is pleasantly fresh.

Wellness

Nach einem langen Tag, gefüllt mit vielen Terminen, Gesprächen und einem Cocktail, machten wir uns auf, in den über 400qm großen Fitness- und Wellnessbereich. Dieser Bereich hat bis 23:00 Uhr geöffnet. Was Luxus ist, kann und darf jeder für sich festlegen. Nach einem 14 Stunden Tag ist es für uns Luxus, unter verschiedene Saunen, einem Dampfbad, einer Kneippstrasse, Fußbädern, einem Eisbrunnen, einem Aussenbereich und einem Ruheraum auszuwählen. Der nächste Tag konnte kommen.

After a long day, filled with many appointments, talks and a cocktail, we made our way into the over 400 square meters fitness and wellness area. This area is open until 23:00. What luxury is, everyone can decide for themselves. After a 14-hour day, it is a luxury for us to choose among various saunas, a steam bath, a Kneippstrasse, footbaths, an ice fountain, an outdoor area and a relaxation room. The next day could come.

Als sehr positiv empfanden wir auch die Nachhaltigkeit des Hotels, das als Green Globe zertifiziert ist. Wir, W&W 360° Grad stehen für eine positive Einstellung zum Leben mit einem besonderem Auge für Details und Hintergründe sowie besonderen Geschichten und Erlebnissen der Menschen, mit denen wir uns umgeben. Diese Menschen haben wir als Team des Hotel Mövenpick Stuttgart Airport & Messe getroffen und kennengelernt. Jeder hat in seinem Aufgabenbereich für unser Wohl gesorgt. Mit Ruhe und Herzlichkeit haben die Mitarbeiter die Hektik und den Stress, den wir als Aussteller hatten, entschleunigt.

Also very positive to mention is the sustainability of the hotel, which is certified as Green Globe. We, W&W 360° have a positive attitude to life with a special eye for details and background as well as special stories and experiences of the people with whom we surround ourselves. We met and met these people as a team of the Hotel Mövenpick Stuttgart Airport & Messe. Everyone has provided for our welfare. With the peace and cordiality, the employees have decelerated the hustle and bustle and stress that we had as exhibitors for the days at the EuroMotor exhibition.

Klein, fein und exklusiv – das ist die EuroMotor und Lifestyle Messe in Stuttgart.W&W 360 Grad war dieses Jahr wieder dabei. Die wichtigsten Gründe dazu wollen wir hier kurz berichten. Das Ausstellungsgelände liegt direkt am Flughafen Stuttgart. Nahverkehrsanbindungen an Stuttgart oder Nachbarstädte sind vorhanden. Small, fine and exclusive – this is the EuroMotor and Lifestyle exhibition in Stuttgart. W&W 360° was again present this year. We would like to briefly report the most important reasons for this. The exhibition grounds are located directly at Stuttgart Airport. Public transport connections to Stuttgart or neighboring cities are available.

Eindrücke rund um die EuroMotor Messe – Impressions about EuroMotor exhibition

Rund 120 Aussteller präsentieren sich auf der Messe. Von Kunst angefangen, bis zu Luxuskarossen oder Luxus Events findet Jeder etwas Passendes. Mode und Kulinarik sind durch zahlreiche Aussteller dort ebenfalls vertreten.

120 exhibitors present themselves at the exhibition. From art, to luxury carriages or luxury events everyone will find something suitable to his/her taste. Of course there are also providers of fashion and culinary arts.

Massenanstehen wie an einem Economy Check-In Schalter eines Charterfluges werden Sie hier nicht finden. Wieso? Ganz einfach! Die Aussteller sind Gastgeber und laden nur ausgewählte Interessenten ein. Dadurch ist die Messe nicht öffentlich und nur für handverlesenes Publikum zugänglich.

You will not find a mass like at economy check-in counters of a charter flight. Why is that? Well, it is easy! The exhibitors are hosts and invite only selected interested parties. As a result, the exhibition is not open to the public and is only accessible to selected guests.

Warum sich Wiederkommen lohnt – why it is worth to be revisited

Durch die verschiedenen Stände der Aussteller findet man schnell Kontakt und eine angenehme Nähe zu den Produkten. Zu einer Messe gehört Sales natürlich immer, aber hier kommt es für den Kunden als freundliches Anbieten, Informieren oder Verkosten an. Man nimmt sich Zeit für einander, ob als Besucher oder Aussteller. Überfüllte Stände mit genervten Mitarbeitern oder gierigen PIN Anstecknadelsammlern gibt es hier nicht! Unter anderem trafen wir die bezaubernde Jazz Pianistin Gee Hye Lee, die von Consigno eingeladen wurde, um die Besucher am Stand mit sanften Klavier Klängen zu erfreuen. (VIDEO) Die EuroMotor und Lifestyle Messe in Stuttgart ist kein aufgepumptes Großereignis – Sie ist für ausgewählte Besucher mit Niveau und exklusivem Geschmack ein wunderschöner Ort um andere Menschen und Luxus zu treffen. With these various stands of the exhibitors you get into contact quickly and experience a pleasant proximity to the products. Sales is of course, always a matter of an exhibition, but here it is more like a friendly offer, information or tasting for the customer. People have time for one another, whether as a visitor or an exhibitor. Overstuffed stands with annoyed employees or greedy PIN lapel collectors can not be found here! We also met amazing jazz pianist Gee Hye Lee who was hired for these days by consigno in order to enchant visitors with soft piano tunes. (VIDEO) The EuroMotor and Lifestyle trade fair in Stuttgart is not a „wannabe“ major event – it is a wonderful place to meet other people and luxury for selected visitors on a high luxury level and exclusive taste.
