The hotel – Alpine Palace *****S

The five-star superior Hotel Alpine Palace has a long tradition. In 1950, Marion and Heribert Wolf moved to the small mountain farming village of Hinterglemm to found the first local ski school.

Over several decades, the house continues to evolve to meet the ever-changing demands of its guests.

The varied offer includes the excellent cuisine, the numerous possibilities of a varied holiday, a regular guest bonus, rooms of choice and the compilation of offers of the house according to the individual needs of the guest.

The motto at Alpine Palace – “Feel royal, enjoy lässig”

The guest at the Alpine Palace experiences Salzburg traditions combined with modern lifestyle.

The rooms are spacious oases of well-being and the whole hotel smells deliciously of pine wood, which is processed everywhere.

The Alpine Palace offers a refuge for body and soul with its spacious SPA area. It’s a perfect retreat to energize your body after any outdoor activity.

In the SPA every guest will find lovingly designed details, such as: the root of the house entirely made of wood by the hotel-owner himself. Here, the visitor is individually inspired by how he / she wants to recharge their batteries.

At the same time, the house offers its guests the opportunity to create a new and varied day by day through a modern gym and a wide range of outdoor activities.

We chose the summer sports & activities program with the choice of hiking, mountain biking, carving lessons in the studio, driving Tesla or a helicopter flight for the exit to the Grossglockner and a trip to the Wieseralm.

Alpine Palace Gourmet – culinary arts in perfection

Depending on the personal mood of the day, the Alpine Palace offers different restaurants. From the award-winning restaurant ARTE VINUM, the ski museum or the Bürgerstuben, to the modern Red Oyster restaurant, guests can decide where they want to enjoy the top-class cuisine of Patrick Raaß.

Patrick Raaß began his career with an apprenticeship as a chef and waiter in Tyrol. Stations such as Heinz Winkler in Aschau, Hans Haas in Tantris, Johann Lafer and most recently over 10 years as a chef at Alfons Schuhbeck in Munich in the South Tyrolean Stube characterize his career.

Here the Alpine Palace lives its motto “Feel royal, enjoy lässig” in perfection. The guest not only finds unique and imaginative cuisine with regional top products and top international quality in his gourmet menu, also the craftsman and master of these dishes is always personally approachable for the guest. Patrick Raaß is a top chef with proximity to the guest and with his casual style fits perfectly to the house.

Our stay at Alpine Palace – summary

The Alpine Palace is in the truest sense of the word an all-round experience at a high level. The family and the entire team are perfectly attuned to the generations X, Y and currently Z, who want to experience their holidays in a modern and flexible way.

That impressed us a lot. We had put together for our stay a combination of road trip, wellness and cuisine.

Our day’s experiences we reviewed in the afternoon in the wellness area with saltwater outdoor pool.

With the collected impressions, we went relaxed every evening for dinner and then enjoyed some fine drinks at the hotel bar.

With wonderful taste experiences that we combined with the matching wines from the excellent wine list, and good conversations, we enjoyed the charm of the house.

The perfect end to the day we silently on our balcony with stunning views of the mountain.

Thanks to everyone involved for this wonderful time!
